Golfers all over the world like to take part in local events and tournaments, and with social distancing, it is still possible to play in a group.
In Asia, local tournaments are proving very popular again for both for the men and ladies. 188 players turned up recently at Rayong Green Valley for the Ladies Golf on Thailand Mother’s Day.
Bangkok’s Fore Management are also seeing their tournaments selling out around Thailand, as people enjoy the competition and camaraderie.
One of the popular elements of competing is walking off with your Goodie Bag, often filled with the various sponsors gifts, normally golf balls, towels, caps, drinks and even a polo shirt. However, tournament organisers have now created a new trend since the outbreak of COVID 19, by supplying a printed face mask in the bags as well.
Naturally, the world is now obliged to wear a face mask, and so sponsors are realizing that their brand can be seen more often on a mask than say, a golf cap.
Fenix XCell, a Bangkok based golf apparel company saw an opening for this opportunity, back when the pandemic took hold. They have since been manufacturing face masks for many companies here and overseas, including several golf clubs.
Their latest collection features national flags and clients can have their own printed face mask with logo printed including their corporate colours, and images.
Face Masks are here to stay and so expect to see some fun masks out on the course, maybe one day promoting your company.
