Prom Meesawat

Nicknamed “The Big Dolphin” due to his burly physique, Prom has been ever present on the Asian Tour since turning pro at the age of 20 in 2004. In 1999, he won the Singha Masters on the Thai tour as just a 15 year old amateur, and he won the Thailand Amateur Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Since then, Prom has forged a hugely successful career on the Asian Tour, amassing over $2.7m in prize money (9th all time), and picking up 2 wins, at the 2006 SK Telekom Open in Korea and the 2013 Yeangder Tournament Players Championship in Taiwan. In 2013 he lost in a playoff to Miguel Angel Jimenez, but earned enough money to secure playing rights on the European Tour for the 2014 season.
